Constitution and Bill of Rights Book Club says
A book/discussion club designed to engage participants in a deeper understanding of the Constitution and Bill of Rights as living documents and looking at the ways in which these documents have reverberated in our popular culture through nonfiction, novels, essays, plays, and film.

The goal of monthly meetings will be to provide a way for participants to engage in civil, civic discourse about the principles that guided the development of our nation; to learn how these principles have succeeded and failed throughout our history; and discuss how to effectively uphold and defend the values inherent in our most important governing documents.

For the inaugural meeting, we will have inexpensive pocket copies of the Constitution and Bill of Rights available for purchase.

Facilitator: Robert J. McWhirter.
The initial discussion will be facilitated by Robert McWhirter, a Phoenix-based lawyer, and nationally known author, speaker and expert on trial advocacy, immigration law, and the Bill of Rights. Learn more about Bob McWhirter at http://billofrightshistory.com/index.php/en/author.
