UPTOWN P.E.N. Tuesday, March 10th, 2015 from 7pm-8:30pm Hosted by Jake Friedman, Featuring Frank Jackson! Come hang out in an indoors, relaxed atmosphere and share your passions and insights with a welcoming audience. Bring along poetry, flash fiction, or any other word-craft pieces that respect typical time allowances for group readings. Frank Jackson studied writing at the University of Pittsburgh, he was an Assistant Fiction Editor for Weave Magazine, his fiction has been published by Four Chamber Press the premier literary journal of Phoenix, he has driven across country seven times, he has twice voted for Barack Hussein Obama, he is an original supporter of a musical genre known formerly as Emo, his literary desire is to be the love child of Gore Vidal and Donald Barthelme and Anne Sexton, he's never thought of himself as a cat person, but understands the appeal, and his life goal is to someday host Saturday Night Live with Musical Guest - himself.
