Lawn Gnome Publishing says
“The thing is, it's really hard to be roommates with people if your suitcases are much better than theirs - if yours are really good ones and theirs aren't. You think if they're intelligent and all, the other person, and have a good sense of humor, that they don't give a damn whose suitcases are better, but they do.”
― J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

There are two ways to participate in this all-ages event:

1) Watch people tell true stories 2) Sign-up and tell your own story.

Every Wednesday, 8pm, Lawn Gnome Publishing invites storytellers to prepare a 5 to 8 minute, first-person story on the theme, addressing it literally or metaphorically in the tradition of The Moth or stories that could be heard on NPR's This American Life.

Yarnball Storytellers Mic is hosted by Rachel Eseoghene Egboro and Jessie Balli. Sign-up starts 7:30pm in the book store. Yarnball Storytelling is funny, inspiring, motivating, brutal, gripping and always living.

This event is $5, all-ages, and uncensored. Adult language and themes may be present. If you tell a story, you get in for free.
