The Student Loan puts on a groovy, quirky, and lively genre-buster of a show. The group's most recent studio album, “Moonlit Toasters,” was produced by guitar-slinging extraordinaire Scott Law (Phil Lesh and Friends) and marks a new stage of unique sound for the band. Formed in 2005 while in college together, this progressive quartet's diverse sound is a fuse of musical backgrounds and ideas from all across the country. A formally trained composer, percussionist, and violinist, mandolinist Chad Kimbler (West Virginia) blazes a trail of furious picking. Guitarist, fiddler, and avid songwriter Liz Chibucos (Ohio), contributes a wealth of jazz, classical, and rock influences. Banjo player Mark Gerolami (upstate New York) draws upon a rich background of folk and world music, and seasoned rock, gospel, and jazz bassist Julio Appling (Tacoma) lays down a slammin' and solid foundation.

Christopher John Mead has been crafting original music since childhood and loves sharing it with others. CJM builds on the work of his heroes Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Jerry Jeff Walker, Nathan Moore, John Prine, and all other troubadours singing their hearts out. “Phoenix,” his first solo album released May 2015, mixes the soft and edgy sides of his songwriting telling stories of rebirth and perseverance of life's ups and downs. It is a glimpse into emotions and experiences everyone can connect to. By blending these roots with gritty blues, honky-tonk, and folk rock, Christopher John Mead's soulful vocals will make you a believer.

Cow Paddy Stompers are an Americana roots and bluegrass band from Portland. The Stompers are heavily influenced by old time bluegrass, modern new grass and good old-fashioned rock and roll. Their performances are known for their fun loving energy, a train song or two, and lots of shaking it. Push up your sleeves and lace up your dancing shoes because CPS are guaranteed to be a good time.
