1st Anniversary Party & Homebrew Contest

Why on earth would we announce our anniversary party so early? To give you home brewers time to work! We will be holding a home brew competition with prizes for the best Belgian-style beers. Home Brew Contest Details: Entries will be accepted in every category of beer we currently carry at The Abbey, with the exception of the German styles and Ciders. You can see that list here. Winners will be determined by our panel of judges, plus there will also be a People's Choice award. Entrants: Email your name, email address, contact phone and which beer category(ies) you will be submitting for to abbeybarpdx@gmail.com by March 7, 2015. Submit four 12-oz bottles of beer for each category you enter no later than Friday, March 13, 2015. Your name, contact info and beer style must be on each bottle submitted. Judge panel will include Chris Barnes, Cicerone George Dimeo, Cicerone Bristol Kelley, Pretender Tracy Bartels, BJCP Laine Murphy, MD, PhD People's Choice panel will include YOU!!! Voting for the people's choice panel will take place between 3-4pm, while supplies last.
