Led by the Portland State Diversity Action Council in partnership with the office of Global Diversity and Inclusion, the half-day symposium will culminate the 2016-17 workshop series to enhance cultural responsiveness on the PSU campus.

Open to PSU students, faculty and staff, the event will feature a keynote by PSU Professor Marisa Zapata, speakers, light refreshments, and breakout sessions on the following topics and more:

The Trump Presidency and the Ethics of Resistance
Rubric Revolution
Religion and Spirituality at PSU: The Student Experience
Student Activism and Responses to Racism
Social Identity Mapping
Queer/Trans Inclusive Curriculum
Best Practices in Universal Design for Learning and Spaces

Please note that space is limited and maximum capacity is 200 participants. Registration required. Please register online by May 10th.
