The event creator says
YO, intersectional feminists! We get it. The oppressors keep co-opting all of our cool stuff and making it soooo wack!! But instead of pouring all of your neocolonial frustrations into a haphazard conversation with your barista over a mediocre cup of sludge with #racetogether illegibly scrawled on its 100% post-consumer recycled paper facade, come by Am I Right, Ladies? this April 11th at Ford Food & Drink, grab a fresh mug of fair trade coffee, and enjoy a totally radical evening of live stand up comedy and music by Portland's finest feminists.

Co-hosted this month by Jen Tam and Portland Mercury blogger Barbara Holm, April’s edition of Am I Right, Ladies? features live stand up sets from a diverse group comics from all over the gender, race, and sexuality spectrum: Andie Main, Lucia Fasano, Grace Sadie Cejas, Wednesday Weiss, sketch comedy from Vestivus (Laura Allcorn, Jess Lee, Katie Nguyen, Ali Reingold), and music from LEO!!

Am I Right, Ladies typically occurs every second Saturday of the month at Ford Food & Drink.

We are a show dedicated to providing a safe, non-violent space. We do not allow hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, transmisogyny, ableism, and other forms of bigotry against marginalized groups - you know, the language or actions of the oppressor! Fuck that shit! We just wanna have fun!

We are an ALL AGES SHOW, however the content may sometimes be "adult."
