The event creator says
YO feminists, we get it. The oppressors keep oppressing and IT'S JUST SO ANNOYING!! But instead of curling up into a tiny human ball of frustrations next to your Sleater Kinney box set (because you couldn't get tickets to their sold out concert, wahhhh!) and your classiest box of wine at home, come by Ford Food & Drink on May 9th for a very special Bridgetown Comedy Festival edition of Am I Right, Ladies? and enjoy a totally radical evening of live stand up comedy and music by Portland's finest feminists.

Co-hosted by Jen Tam and Portland Mercury and The Huffington Post writer Barbara Holm, May’s regularly scheduled edition of Am I Right, Ladies? features live stand up sets from a diverse group of comics from all over the gender, race, and sexuality spectrum: Anica Cihla (Seattle), Katie Rose Leon, Katie Nguyen, Christen Manville, music from Faith Twain, plus LOTS OF SECRET SPECIAL GUESTS!! It is Bridgetown Comedy Festival weekend after all...

Am I Right, Ladies typically occurs every second Saturday of the month at Ford Food & Drink.

We are a show dedicated to providing a safe, non-violent space. We do not allow hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, transmisogyny, ableism, and other forms of bigotry against marginalized groups - you know, the language or actions of the oppressor! Fuck that shit! We just wanna have fun!

We are an ALL AGES SHOW, however the content may sometimes be "adult."
