Celebration Tabernacle Church says
The Asante Children’s Choir is made up of children from East Africa, a region recovering from years of civil war and genocide that have claimed millions of lives leaving thousands of children and women as orphans and widows. The Choir is dedicated to spreading love, hope and joy while raising awareness for the desperate plight of orphans and other vulnerable children. Their colorful clothing, pounding drums and sweet voices demonstrate their hope and dream for a brighter future. Their inspirational stories of resilience have instilled hope in the hearts of all those who have seen them perform.

The show is FREE, but seating is limited. It WILL be standing room only to see these amazing kids perform.

We will be creating small care packages for each of the children with items such as toothpaste/toothbrushes, soap, lotion, shampoo, etc., and we are urging our community to pitch in. Please consider making a donation to help give these kids some of the necessities we take for granted when we use them every day. We would like to collect at least $400 to go toward providing these care packages. Cash or checks made out to "Josilyn Bell" can be given at the register at Po'Shines Cafe De La Soul.

Please contact Josilyn Bell if you have any questions: jbell@ctoregon.org
