Want to develop your DIY skills? Always wanted to be handier? Interested in sustainable building? You asked for it and we heard you! ReBuilding Center’s ReFind Education is back and we’re kicking things off this month with some basic carpentry courses!

Basic Carpentry: Tables and Benches

ReFind is an adult education program offering classes focused on hands-on projects using very simple design and reclaimed wood from the ReBuilding Center. Gain experience with both hand and power tools, enabling greater self-reliance and creative expression!

$50 - $125 sliding scale
If you choose to pay more than the basic tuition, your generous contribution will support the growth of educational programming at The ReBuilding Center, including a ReFind Education scholarship fund.

Please enter at the administrative entrance on Mississippi (the brick building just north of the main drop-off area, directly across from Stormbreaker Brewing.)

Get comfy with common tools and materials and learn how to use handsaws, hammers, drills, and drivers, and learn about measuring and marking. Take home your final project whether it be a bench, table, box, or even a drum! Check out what you can build next here:
