Bim Ditson For Mayor of Portland says
It's time to kick off Bim's mayoral campaign, what better way than to have a badass show! We're inviting anyone inclined to come enjoy amazing music from Wooden Indian Burial Ground and Sam Coomes. Bim's campaign will always be about listening and that's going to be a big part of this event, it's a first chance to talk with Bim and his team directly about what matters most to you for your Portland.

8pm - Doors
10pm - Sam Coomes
11pm - Wooden Indian Burial Ground

We'll also be collecting signatures from any of you that would like to see Bim's name on the ballot. Alongside that goal for the night we would like to talk to you about volunteering for the campaign, if you have any interest in that please let us know at the event and we'll make sure to keep in touch! There is a lot of important work to be done and no reason that it can't be fun to do it.

We're still finalizing a bunch of cool other details but one crucial thing is that this event will also be a food drive so BRING NON-PERISHABLE FOOD TO DONATE! We'll be giving this food to those that otherwise would not have it on Thanksgiving.

Who's Bim and why should he be the Mayor of Portland? Bim Ditson is a musician, craftsman, small businessman and unifier within the Portland music community. Politically he leans far enough away from the status quo to allow for real progress, and not so far that he’ll fall down in a storm. He’s spent his life working to promote and support the creative community of Portland. Bim’s commitment is simple: Give a voice to the cultural identity of our city.

The heart of Portland is being sold to big development by out of touch administrators. The artists, musicians and small business that make Portland a diverse and inspiring place to live and thrive are being displaced, disrupted and dismantled by the greed of a handful of insiders. Bim will be a strong voice in the city government advocating for creative Portland, and protecting what makes this city special.

Stand with Bim and keep Portland ours.
