On August 9th 2014 at approximately 1pm #MichaelBrown was murdered in #Ferguson,MO by former officer Darren Wilson. Since the #FergusonUprising which was executed against the Ferguson police department in response to #MikeBrowns murder by Youth in Ferguson, we have supported the movement to keep the front line youth inspired and have utilized the movement to build and connect issues around excessive force, police brutality and accountability here in Oregon!

#BlackLivesMatter has given our country the cohesive stretch needed to build a blueprint for communicating and directly connecting to leaders around the country who are organizing with and for protestors to bridge direct action and political change....
