#Blessed Is Back!!

Church Bar's new all-female standup comedy showcase "#Blessed" is back with an Brand-New Lineup for Tuesday, May 16th!!

As always, your host for this evening of entertainment will be Kate Murphy, host of "FlyAssJokes" every 1st & 3rd Tuesday @ the Brody Theater!!

This month's line-up will include these very talented (and very accomplished) comedians:

- Becky Braunstien was a favorite at the 2016 Big Sky Comedy Festival, and has also performed at the All Jane Comedy Festival, the Idaho Laugh Fest, Pickathon, the Siren Nation Festival, NW Women’s Comedy Festival, and the Hudson Valley Comedy Festival. A finalist for ‘Best Comedian’ in the Willamette Week’s 2016 Best of Portland, and selected for Helium Comedy Club’s 2015 ‘Best of Portland,' she performs regularly at Harvey’s Comedy Club.

- Andie Main runs the bi-monthly charity show Revolution Comedy, as well as The Cool Kids Patio Show. She had been seen at The Comedy Exposition, repeated appearances at SF Sketchfest and The All Jane Comedy Festival, Bumbershoot, Seattle Sketchfest, Portland Pride, Treefort Festival and Cromfest. She has recently performed for sold out crowds at UCBeast, UCB Chelsea and The Stand Nightclub in NYC, and esteemed shows in LA like The Rabbit Hole and Put Your Hands Together. When in Portland she is a fixture on the NW circuit and a regular at Helium Comedy Club.

- Laura Anne Whitley is a performing member and producer of Lez Stand Up: a Portland based, all queer, feminist comedy collective and showcase which performs up and down the west coast. Lez Stand Up was voted “Best Comedy Show in Portland” by the readers of the Willamette Weekly in 2016. Laura Anne performs all over the PNW, including Seattle’s Gay City Arts, Not Enough!: A. Queer Art and Performance Festival, Slant Storytelling Series and TBA 2016. She was featured as the opening act for Adrienne Truscott’s award winning show “Asking For It” in 2015.

These women are comedic forces unto themselves, so to have the opportunity to experience them performing together for an evening of hilarity is truly something special!

Most importantly, you'll be able to pair your laughter with love, as the $5 suggested donation at the door will go towards benefiting the Raphael House Of Portland - an organization passionately commited to ending domestic violence in our community for over 40 years.
