Call to Action: Campaign for the Restoration and Regulation of Hemp (CRRH) and Oregon NORML will be holding meetings the third Sunday of every month from 4:20pm-6:00pm at Cadigan's Corner Bar (5501 SE 72nd Ave, Portland, OR 97206). The meetings are open to the public. After the meeting, medical marijuana patients are invited to The Other Spot (across the street) to continue the discussion. If you are a medical marijuana patient in need of free plants/medicine, the community may be able to assist you. Stay positive, join us! The rally cry for 2015 is the need to end discrimination against cannabis consumers. Even after Measure 91 goes into effect, one can still lose their job, their housing, their doctor, their children and student benefits. Education is still important, as people won't understand the nuances of Measure 91 and some will continue to go to jail. Remember, Measure 91 was not a legalization initiative, it was simply a decriminalization initiative, now law. * No Federal Scheduling (Removal of Cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act). The voters have spoken on cannabis. Now is the time for the Federal Government to remove cannabis from the Controlled Substances Act.
