Adult Enrichment in collaboration with the Green Team Presents
A Free Five Session Training led by Dick or Jeanne Roy,
CoDirectors, Center for Earth Leadership & CoFounders, Northwest Earth Institute

Dates: Five Wednesdays – April 8, 15, 22, 29 and May 27
Time: 7:00 to 8:45 p.m.
Location: Unitarian Universalist Church of Vancouver, 4505 E. 18th St.

With the growing awareness and concern about climate change and ecological degradation, you have a unique opportunity to collectively participate in this training presented by the Center for Earth Leadership. The training imparts a proven framework for advancing sustainability or ecological awareness in a chosen “circle of influence” (workplace, neighborhood, school, or center of faith).

During the training, you select a circle of influence and develop a vision to make your circle more sustainable. The facilitators give you tested tools and strategies to develop a project and take first steps to realize your vision. Participants collaborate and consult with one another throughout the process. Some project examples include: starting a neighborhood kitchen equipment or tool library, organizing a non-curbside recycling system at work, or forming a nature club at your child’s elementary school.

After completion, trained Agents become part of the Agent of Change Network, which offers ongoing project support through events, additional trainings, and networking opportunities, all at no cost.

How to Register:
There is no charge for the class, but advance registration is required. For information or to reserve your space, contact Erica DeJong at (503) 227-2315 or Learn more about the Center:
