Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School: Portland says
This may, join us in celebrating the original chameleon of glam rock, David Bowie with a sexy, gender-bent take on one of this most famous characters!

Those of us who grew up in the 80s know Bowie best as his dance-belt eschewing, singing, dancing Goblin King, Jareth.

Joining us May 31st as we kick off a month of exciting David Bowie themed events around town is the lovely Labyrinthette, posing as the famed Goblin King for a 3 hour session of magic, mayhem, and big hair!

So grab your brushes, pencils, and some good old-fashioned charcoal, and come down to Crush Bar for an evening of drawing that will take you on a magical adventure!

Artists of all experience levels are welcome - come, have a drink and try your hand at some art. We'll have basic art supplies for the adventuresome amateur, and, of course, you more-seasoned pros can bring your own. As always, we mix your art education with a healthy dose of fun & sexy, and we charge just $10 at the door.

Dr. Sketchy's Portland is presented by Baby Tattoo Books and Dr. Sketchy’s Anti-Art School, with additional support from Muse Art+Design.

Founded in 2005 by artist provocateur Molly Crabapple, Dr. Sketchy's asked a simple question: Why can't drawing naked people be sexy? The answer is... it can. Dr. Sketchy’s live figure drawing provides a unique opportunity for artists and art lovers to gather on a regular basis to create and celebrate art in a creative environment.
