PAWA (Portland Animal Welfare Advocates) says
Animals feel fear, pain, and yearning just as we do. But animal industry has made billions by twisting this truth - that in their ability to feel, all animals are equal - into a violent fraud. Selling the tortured lives of animals as “happy” and “humane”, companies appeal to our kinship with animals while betraying their trust with violence. #DxE has struck back with an #openrescue and investigation described by writer James McWilliams as "perhaps the most strategically incisive undercover strike ever in the age of 'humane' animal products”, and a campaign that has reached over 100 cities in 20 countries around the world. Now - more than ever - we need your help to keep the pressure on.

In March, activists around the world will speak strongly for the equality of all animals by asking, "What if they killed your friend?" We will cordon off a place of violence, with a symbolic image or person collapsed on the ground in the center, and expose animal industry for what it is: violence.

Join the international movement that has garnered press in The New York Times, CNN, and in nations as far and wide including China and Iran: #UntilEveryAnimalisFree. See the story of #MeiHua, who suffered through starvation, abuse, and nightmarish trauma to become a symbol of a better and more peaceful world.
