BBC North America Worldwide is offering 4 feature films free of charge this summer to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War ll. This is a follow up to last year’s series commemorating the 100th anniversary of the start of WW1. These films cover a variety of topics and star many well-known British actors. They are made for TV productions that have not been shown in the US, and are new except for one star studded film that played over a dozen years ago on PBS.

If you like history, especially WW2 history, then make plans to be at one or all!

BAFTA® and Emmy-award winning writer Nigel Williams crafts an intimate portrait of British humorist P.D. Wodehouse in Wodehouse In Exile. An all-star cast led by Tim-Pigott-Smith (37 Days, Houdini) and Zoe Wanamaker (Mr. Selfridge) shares the gripping tale of how the creator of Jeeves and Wooster faced treason charges that prevented him from setting foot on English soil again.
