Using the Min Zidell Healing Garden as a laboratory, we will spend two summer hours walking and talking about herbs that are useful in stress and anxiety. We will discuss the clinical indications and use for adaptogenic herbs and nervines. Herbs include valerian, lemon balm, St. John’s Wort, lavender, holy basil, passionflower, Schisandra and wood betony.

About the presenter: Dr. Glen Nagel has spent 25 years studying medicinal and edible plants. He is a naturopathic physician and master herbal mixologist, focusing on the creative flavor combinations and the healing properties of his medicinally inspired drinks and creations. His goal is to make herbal medicine tasty, fun and part of your everyday life.
