Get Out And Paddle: Sea Oregon Skill Building Paddle says
Winter is coming, so let’s Get Out and Paddle! For all you flatwater, recreational, touring, and sea kayakers out there, GOAP: Sea Oregon will be visiting local lakes, bays, larger rivers and coastline twice a month. The 2nd Sunday of each month will be our Mellow Paddle, for experts and novices alike to explore our larger rivers, lakes and calmer bays throughout our great state, and that state just across the river. The 4th Sunday of each month will be our Step-it-Up Paddle, a paddle to grow and continue exploring areas that require more intermediate skill. To add to the fun, Next Adventure has partnered with our vendors a limited number of FREE Demo kayaks to community members.

All paddles and locations are dependent on weather and water levels, and we will announce our paddles the Wednesday before on our Facebook Page, our community Events Page, and on several of the Local Listservs. We will meet at the Paddle Sports Center around 9:00 am and depart by 9:45 am (times and meeting times may adjust for specific paddles). We will take as many people and boats as our trailer will provide, and encourage carpooling for the rest.

SUP’s and Canoes are welcome on paddles. Some paddle may require additional equipment for Paddle boarders and Canoes.

Demo Program and Discounted Rentals: Don't have a boat of your own, or thinking of upgrading? Sign up ahead of time to demo a boat through Next Adventure! First come, first served, with priority going towards people who have not paddled a particular boat and the demo only includes the boat.

Discounted Drysuits are available for the paddles for only $10 (Normal rental rate with the balance coming back to you in in-store credit after the paddle). This is a perfect time to try a new drysuit, or just to use one to keep paddling this winter. Other rental gear (paddles, PFDs etc) will also be available for a discounted rate.
