Join us for a delicious potluck and yummy raw cooking demonstration with the owner of Eatin’ Alive, a woman-owned raw, gluten-free foods business based in Portland, Oregon that uses as much local, organic produce as possible. They pride themselves on utilizing simple, healthy ingredients to provide robust, decadent food—collard green and sunflower seed wraps, zucchini noodle lasagna, cashew cheesecakes and much more. Eatin' Alive offers grab-and-go dishes as well as catering services. Ultimately, they hope to inspire our customers to rethink their definition of food and nourishment.

So please join us and Eatin' Alive as we hop into spring with some fresh new ideas on how to use fresh greens to prepare wraps and sauces as well as a light and decadent sweet treat. Inspiring plant strong recipes and samples will be provided. http://eatinalivepdx.com/

The potluck will be held at the Healing Hope Seventh Day Adventist Church, 15150 NE Glisan Street, Portland. Come to the potluck at 5:00pm, the demo at 6:30pm, or both! Please bring a plant-based (no animal products, including honey) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use. If you come alone, figure the amount to serve 4-6 generously; increase the amount 4 servings for each additional person in your party/family. Northwest VEG potlucks are alcohol-free events. Please email Jeanne at upcyclingcreations@gmail.com for more information.
