If you don't know Portland...okayokayokay. Stop.

If you can't tell, I'm really really excited for this show. I love Kathryn's music and I think you will, too. Here's a short paragraph bio that might explain a little bit about why I am excited to share a stage with her:

"It’s easy to forget that Kathryn Calder is a music industry veteran. From her first band Immaculate Machines, to the New Pornographers and her solo works Kathryn has released 10 albums over the last 10 years, toured around the world, and solidified herself a career in music before she was thirty. She recorded her first solo album, Are You My Mother in her family home while she was taking care of her mother as she lost her fight with ALS. Shortly before the release of her sophomore record, Bright and Vivid, her father suddenly passed away. This bittersweet whirlwind of success and tragedy is certainly reflected in her first two albums and presumably could have provided several more albums worth of material."

My debut album is also a reflection on losing a parent. Kathryn's music speaks to me personally and it will be a night full of healing sounds and heart songs.

More info about the show and a link to purchase your advance tickets here: http://bit.ly/1CzYh42. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Doors open at 7 and the music starts at 8.

I hope you all can make it to this show! Any questions? Let me know at kellybosworthmusic@gmail.com.
