PDX Magazine says
We have a jam-packed night planned for you this month at Mechanical. Hold on tight:

-- Famous Author Mykle Hansen
-- a short play by Evan Armstrong called "Delores Davies: Actress To Activist"
-- Poet Dan Raphael
-- and a simultaneous-slash-after party for Ford Gallery's opening upstaris of Richard Melloy's "Present In Time" exhibit (See this event's photo and the gallery event HERE: https://www.facebook.com/events/1851313805092009/)

"Delores Davies: Actress To Activist": This is Evan Armstrong's stage debut and we're very excited to be her first venue. The five-minute play stars Evan, Jen Berry, and Hunter Armstrong.

Dan Raphael brought down the house on his last visit to Last Saturday Salon. He's back at the Mechanical pulpit with a new book of poems titled "Everyone in this Movie Gets Paid".

Famous Author Mykle Hansen needs no introduction, but we'll test this humble writer's blush reflex by doing so anyway. Mykle wrote the first feature for PDX Magazine "The Voyage of Hurlothrumbo" (http://pdxmag.com/archives/article/hurlothrumbo) and is the author of numerous novels, novellas, short stories, and works of journalism. Read up on him HERE: http://mykle.com

If you’re new to the drill, we're in the basement of the Ford Building, 2505 SE 11th Ave.

Enter through the back doors by the loading dock off of 11th Ave. Make your way downstairs. Follow the noise.

We're trying to get those back doors left unlocked a little later than normal. Otherwise, someone will be posted there to let you in.

If you get locked out of the building or can't find us, text or call

Ross at 503-449-3305,
Guy at 503-381-5478, or
Jef at 503-990-3324.

Someone will run up and let you in or give you directions.

As usual for the Salon events, please feel free to bring your own refreshments. We have coolers to keep drinks cold. If you show up empty-handed (that happens) we'll take care of you.
