Laura House is a comic, writer and meditation teacher. After starring on Mtv’s first scripted sit-com, "Austin Stories," she appeared on several stand-up shows and in the film "Where the Heart is," opposite Natalie Portman. She writes for Vice’s Broadly site and is published in several books including "True Tales of Lust and Love." She’s written TV shows for over a decade including "Blue Collar TV," "The George Lopez Show," the Emmy-winning "Samantha Who?" and CBS' "Mom." She’s also developed scripts at ABC, Nickelodeon and FX. She debuted her hit solo show "How to Hate Yourself" at the Hollywood Fringe Fest which Huffpo called “…a riotous laughfest and complete joy.” Her podcast "Laura House at Large" features a season called “Will you Med with Me?” where you can meditate along with comics, writers, rock stars and what-have-you. She’s currently a writer for "Loosely, Exactly Nicole" on Mtv. Vids and more at laurahouse.com
