With 3 concentrated hours on the dance floor for this workshop, exciting things happen! We absolutely LOVE this class and what it does for the people who take it!

No previous Lindy Hop experience required but see the list of prerequisites you must already know well to take this series. Scroll to the bottom of this event page and you'll find the list of moves and where you can learn them if you don't already know them. Remember, you can always attend the Guided Practicum on Mondays (Melody Ballroom 615 SE Alder, 7-9 PM, $7) for a little brush up or take a private lesson(s) to maximize you time and your dollar.

Is this the right class for you? Let's see...

1. You've taken the Beginning & "Intermediate" Swing drop-in lessons already and you're looking for something more? This class is for you!

2. You've taken Lindy Hop in the past but you're not totally comfortable leading/following it on the social floor? This class is for you!

3. You've been dancing for ages and have taken the drop-in lessons as the opposite role lead/follow but you want more from that opposite role? This class is for you!

4. You're comfortable with basic Lindy Hop but you want to start refining it? You're looking for an environment where the music tempo will be comfortable and the dancing will be repetitive so you can focus on the details of what your body is doing without worry or interruption? You're looking for a little encouragement and feedback from a trained eye but you mostly need to just dance through the basics a lot? This class is for you!

Prerequisites-- that WILL be used in this series and will NOT be taught in this series. You need to know every move on this list WELL before taking this series:
1. 6-count, triple time basic (Taught Sundays in the Beginning Drop-In Lesson- 7:30 PM)
