Do you have a child that loves tinkering, making or inventing things? We're setting up a space where kids (ages 5-11) can create, or continue, their engineering/electronic/invention type projects. Recommended projects can be similar to Snap Circuits, Inventor Lab Kits, Robot Models, Knex Kits, etc. Please bring projects that are easily cleaned up (please no liquids, sand, or organic crumbly things). LE Open Studio sessions will be weekly from 10a-12p (2hrs) starting Thursday, March 5th. Here's a tentative session schedule: 10-10:10 - Project Setup 10:10-11:10 - Work time 11:10-11:20 - Break 11:20-11:40 - Project Demo's (kids can either continue working or watch demo's) 11:40-1:55 - Clean up time Suggested Session Donation: $5 LE Open Studio will be held in the Library at TaborSpace in SE Portland.
