Storyteller Wine Company says
This Friday evening's tasting is a barn burner that will rival any last second NCAA tournament buzzer beater. First off, we'll have the newly released 2014 Cameron Ribbon Ridge Vineyard Pinot Noir open.for you to taste. That's worth a trip over all by itself.

Joining John Paul's latest wine will be three white cru wines from the Vadiaperti winery in Campania. We have been selling their "entry level" whites for months but these are the next step up in the Vadiaperti portfolio. The wines being opened are Vadiaperti's Torama Coda di Volpe, Tournante Greco di Tufo and Aiperti Fiano di Avellino. These wines are very difficult to find in the United States and you rarely see all three being poured at a public tasting. They are also quite modestly priced (28.00 to 32.00 a bottle) given their quality.

Still not enough of a temptation? Well, it is March Madness these days so why not add a few magnums to make it March Magnum Madness? Did you know Barnaby and Olga Tuttle of the Teutonic Wine Company recently decided to make a few magnums of some of their top wines? They have never done large format bottles before so this was pretty exciting news. And wait until you see the shape of the bottles! I'll have a limited number of their Maresh Vineyard Pinot Gris and Teutonic Rosé available for sale in 1.5L format this Friday. They will also be available for you to taste.

Finally, in honor of March Magnum Madness, every large format bottle of wine in the store will be up for grabs for 10%-30% off the regular price.

That's not a bad lineup at all for a free tasting, so I hope to see a bunch of you here this Friday evening!
