Join The Side Yard Farm and guest instructor Wilfredo Benitez, M.Ed for an educational class out on the farm about mindful eating for improved wellness. We live in a time right now where multitasking and being over-productive has become the norm; even eating has become something that we multitask. Not only is not eating mindfully very possibly detrimental to our health, it is also detrimental to our relationship with food. In this class, we'll discuss simple ways to include mindful eating in your life and we'll also talk about how mindful eating can improve your health and wellness. Guests can bring materials to take notes, but nothing is required for this class except for your presence.

Wilfredo Benitez, M.Ed.
Will is the owner of On Pace Wellness, offering nutrition and lifestyle coaching to those looking for improved wellness. As a former teacher, he is passionate about empowering others and communities through nutrition education to help people take their health back into their hands. Will graduates in July 2017 with a Master's degree in Nutrition and has been employing his education throughout Portland while teaching nutrition and cooking classes at New Seasons, Natural Grocers, Fred Meyer, and Whole Foods; he is excited to teach classes at The Side Yard Farm.
