Whim Grace - Whim channels far away souls and fallen stars with her unusual chord progressions, prophetic lyrics, and warm voice. Salvatore Manalo's timeless guitar licks, Evan Knapp's grooving bass, Danny Frye's driving rhythm, and Paisley Rose's sweet harmonies fill out the sound. With big gospel choruses, pop hooks, folky lyricism, jazz progressions, and so much soul. They are able to capture all the whimsy and magic on the anticipated new album Black Holes and Unicorns.

Laryssa Birdseye - Many years ago, she stole her older brother's guitar, picked up a Beatles anthology guitar book, and taught herself how to play a ditty or two. Heavily influenced by powerful female songwriters and vocalists such as Ani Difranco, Janis Joplin, Cat Power, and Regina Spektor, Laryssa ranges from soulful and contemplative to sarcastic and playful. A mix of love songs and revenge songs interspersed with social and feminist commentary make her a fun artist to watch.

Kaiya On The Mountain - If Florence & The Machine and Alabama Shakes had a baby, Kaiya On The Mountain would be their love child. If you like alternative folk music with a southern flare, stick around. You might just fall in love.
