Josh Feinberg says
There are always those people in society who are at the margins, who are vulnerable. It is our duty as community members to look out for each other, and to raise our voice when our brothers and sisters face oppression.

I am an artist, and a member of our community here in Portland, Oregon. But as a Jewish man raised in New York, playing Indian music and taught by a family of Muslim musicians, I am also a member of a global community. I have known great generosity from my musical brothers and sisters who have welcomed me into the tradition of Hindustani music.

On February 25th I will holding a fundraiser concert at my temple, Beth Israel in Portland, to raise funds for the ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center, and Mercy Corps. These organizations are doing great work, helping the oppressed and speaking up for those who need it the most.

Please come enjoy our music, and help support these great organizations working for justice and equality.

This will be an interfaith event, open to the public. Members of all religions, atheists, agnostics—everyone—is welcome. I'm hoping we can attract 300-500 people for this cause.
