Northwest VEG says

This month we welcome Maren Souders who will share with us how to effectively advocate for ourselves. We all know that vegan advocacy can be challenging, whether you’re dodging snide remarks from family or coworkers, or just talking about veganism to people in your life or during outreach events, this presentation can help. Maren will share Nonviolent Communication (NVC) tools to help us build connection, rather than divisiveness, when talking about these charged topics.
Maren is a life coach who has been a vegetarian since 1992, and vegan since 1999. She discovered Nonviolent Communication in 2002, and found it inspiring and transformative. She enjoys living consciously and supporting others to do so through her “life coaching for a better world” practice, Dream Into Change.

Come to the potluck at 6:30, the talk at 7:30, or both!
For the potluck, please bring a plant-based (no animal products, including honey) main dish, salad, or dessert; a card listing its ingredients; and plates and utensils for your use.
