Olympia Oyster Bar PFA: Melissa Mayer & Maylin Chavez Dish up the Quintessential Oyster Experience
Melissa Mayer and Maylin (pronounced MY-LEAN) Chavez' mission is to showcase and promote sustainable practices in oyster farming throughout the Pacific. They opened Olympia Oyster bar in 2015 after deciding on Portland as the best place to promote their food and vision, starting with pop-ups that lead to their current beautiful intimate bar on North Mississippi.

For this PFA, the two will showcase the best of the magic they perform with oysters and more. They'll round out their menu with some other wonderful dishes, and of course shine a light on their wonderful beverage program with excellent pairings.

As with all PFA evenings, you'll get to know M & M, and their staff, and hear the chefs talk about their favorite Portland places and then leave with gift certificates to go try them. Castagna/Café Castagna, Paiche and Hamlet are on this adventure--some truly fantastic Portland places for you to try with gift certs. If you're a couple, you have double the amount to use! ($15-20 to each x2)
