In honor of our newest Portland Experience package, complimentary adult beverages will be poured by our friends and neighbor, BaseCamp Brewery. Since opening in 2012, the crew at Base Camp Brewing company has been busy crafting lagers and ales at their brewery and taproom, located in the heart of Portland’s Eastside Brewery District. From their tricked-out custom brewhouse to their one-of-a-kind aluminum bottles and cans, Base Camp puts their beers’ consistency, quality, and innovation first.
Pacific Pie specializes in handmade sweet and savory pies using awesome local ingredients and will be joining us as well, to serve up some seriously tasty treats. Don’t wait too long, though… we ran out last First Friday super early. These pies are AWESOME.
And for art, we’re very proud to feature two local artists from Portland. The show is titled, “(re)Constructed Hero” and will be featured in the gallery from March 26th to May 26th, 2015. The first artist is Brin Levinson. Levinson’s paintings are postcards of a place where time stopped, snapshots of intense drama where nature bumps into the dream of a failed progress.
And our second artist is Paige Wright. Currently Paige is designing and producing ceramic drinking vessels as the Studio Manager/Lead Craftsperson at a local Portland brand, Mazama Wares, that focuses on ways to enjoy the vast array of craft beverages. With an ever-growing need to still make the figure, Paige keeps a separate studio to produce work reflecting her perceptions of memories and ideas of her relationships, experiences, and existence.

Our newest venture is the First Friday Artisan Series where we expand the concept of art into an exploration of all of the senses: visual, taste, touch, smell and sound. The First Friday event is an opportunity to treat yourself to a variety of sensory stimulation and support the local artisans that make Portland a unique and wonderful place to live.
