POETS ON BROADWAY: JOHN BEER & MICHELE GLAZER

John Beer is the author of The Waste Land and Other Poems (Canarium, 2010), which received the Norma Farber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America, and the chapbook Lucinda (Spork, 2013). The full-length version of Lucinda will appear from Canarium in 2016. He is also the editor of Poems (1962-1997) by Robert Lax (Wave, 2013). He lives in Portland and teaches at Portland State University.

Michele Glazer’s most recent book of poems is On Tact, & the Made Up World (Iowa, 2010). Her awards include fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, Regional Arts & Culture Council, Oregon Arts Commission, and Literary Arts. Glazer teaches in and currently directs the MFA Creative Writing program at Portland State University.
