Rock'n'Roll Camp for Girls says
Ladies Rock Camp (LRC) is a weekend day camp in Portland, OR that provides an opportunity for women 21 and over to let loose for the weekend and create original music together. Beginning Friday, you’ll start to learn and/or improve upon your instrument of choice*, then you’ll form a band and work together to write an original song that you will play on stage at Mississippi Studios music venue by Sunday. In addition, you will have the opportunity to attend workshops, participate in a private karaoke party, and learn about women in music herstory.

This year we are featuring a song-writing workshop with the legendary song-writer and educator, Sue Ennis! Sue Ennis wrote and co-wrote over 70 Heart songs!

*Choice of instruments: Bass, Drums, Guitar, Vocals, and Keys. Instrument assignments will be given on a first come-first served basis. NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Ladies Rock Camp provides all of the instruments and gear and our awesome instructors and band managers are all local female musicians who help you every step of the way and will provide you with all of the musical tools and support you'll need to rock out!

Enrollment Process
Space is limited and enrollment is on a first come-first served basis. Sessions and instrument choices fill up fast so get your application in early! We will confirm your enrollment as soon as we process your application and receive your tuition.

TUITION
The cost of Ladies Rock Camp is $400. Tuition is due in full at the time of enrollment. This year we are accepting checks only. Please make checks out to Rock’n’Roll Camp for Girls and send to P.O. Box 11324 Portland, OR 97211.

As a non-profit all donations made to us (in-kind and monetary) are tax deductible, and much appreciated! The Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls has become what it is today because of unending community support. While your tuition is not considered a donation, any amount beyond that is! So please consider giving an extra amount if at all possible, every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated!
