The Master of Ceremonies for the evening Is the beautiful and talented Wednesday Weiss. You may recognize her from many different stages around town from hosting comedy open mics or shaking it on stage at one of pdx's best strip clubs. Doors at 8. This event will also benefit Born Again Pit Bull Rescue (BAPBR) and TransActive Gender Center. Born Again Pit Bull Rescue (BAPBR) strives to improve the lives of Pit Bull Terriers, advocating for these animals who cannot speak for themselves. TransActive Gender Center provides a holistic range of services and expertise to empower transgender and gender nonconforming children, youth and their families in living healthy lives, free of discrimination.
Portland Renegade Roller Derby provides an inclusive alternative to "traditional" Roller Derby. As well as all genders being welcome The Renegade League is a faster paced game with no penalties and no referees to stop game play or send skaters to a penalty box. Highlighting each skater's skill, players can use moves which are considered "outlawed" and illegal by traditional league rules. The Renegade skaters play by the motto "any surface, any time."
