Hey y'all! Our touring captain will be leading an overnighter from Velo Cult to Milo McIver the last weekend of August! This is to be considered an introduction to touring ride. The ride is about 98% paved with exception of about 2mi into the campground on flat maintained gravel. We will maintain a slow pace(keep it turtle) and break whenever necessary. This ride is to be considered no drop, but bail out options are available.
Meet up: VC at 9am
Ride: leave 10am. 35 miles to Milo mciver
Return: leave camp leisurely by 12. Ride officially ends at VC but feel free to break off once we get into town.

The route as planned avoids the less than favorable portions of the springwater trail. The route also does it's best to avoid roads with elevated traffic, alternatively following less traveled country roads. With this day one does have one legitimate climb.
Bring all necessary gear and clothes for an overnight stay. Carry as much food as you would like! If you want to test out your bike with a full load please do. We WILL stop in Estacada to get grocery before riding the last 3 flat miles to the park.
Camping in the bike n hike is $5 per person and wood bundles are $5 as well(cash only at campground)
