Ronnie Carrier says
For the past year and a half, I gathered folks together once a month at the Jade Lounge for eclectic night of music. We had soul. We had jazz. Old time music. County. Folk. Hip-hop.

The goal of Emerald Evenings is to put the spotlight on the artists. In the intimate Jade Lounge, we gave handfuls of talent our undivided attention. We sang together. We laughed. Told stories. Shed some tears. Broke out of our comfort zones.

This event has helped me grow, improve, and understand the world of music. There aren't words for how grateful I am to have had this showcase as my introduction to the Portland music scene.

But all good things . . .

After a great run, the September edition of Emerald Evenings will be the last.

Please join me on September 14 to celebrate the amazing music that has graced the Jade Lounge over the past year.

I have some of my favorite people coming to play. Some veteran Emerald stars and some new faces. All local to Portland.

Line up includes:
- Rob Larkin Music

So let's do this last one with all the heart and soul this city has to offer.

Emerald Evenings is FREE with a tip jar available to support the artists! Portions of the proceeds will help fund the making of my debut album due out before the end of the year.
