The Last Big Tasting says
Storyteller's very first Friday night wine tasting took place on August 25th 2007 and our guest was winemaker John Grochau. John will be back this Friday as I begin to take Storyteller into the sunset, which coincidentally is the name of the local high school John and I both graduated from.

Mr. Grochau will be joined by John Paul of Cameron Winery and Jason Lett of The Eyrie Vineyards as we pour things old and new in honor of the last few days of Storyteller Wine Company. To remind us this is a happy, rowdy wake and not a maudlin funeral, Brianne Day will be in the house to make it feel like old times. I'm sure there will be a few more special guests added to the list, but that's a pretty solid core group, one that represents various important phases of Storyteller history.

Given the caliber (and number) of wines being poured, there will be a 10.00 tasting fee for this event. That fee will be merrily waived with the purchase of any wine from the tasting.

I know I say it all the time but this one is going to be special. I promise.
