Having formed one afternoon in Melbourne Australia when minds collided at The Tote Hotel, The Pink Tiles might best be described as relentless throwaway garage bubblegum pop. Or similar.
Referred to by WFMU's Joe McGasko as "fresh and exciting pop" their unhinged enthusiasm and capacity for imbibing fun times puts them in a league of their own. With a fabulous cassingle & a hot pink long playing vinyl record already released to rapturous and unanimous acclaim, they have most recently released a CDEP, in the deluxe 90’s fall-apart jewel case, entitled:
