The event creator says

The Satin Chaps are back with a freshly pressed 7" single and to celebrate they're throwing an R&B Burlesque dance party with their friends The Fondells, The Criminal Guitars, and DJ Drew Groove! The Chaps are also excited to announce they're be joined by guest vocalist Cecilila (Cecilia und die Sauerkrauts, Sex Crime, DAMN!) Check out the new single here:

The Fondells - Broads, Booze and Rhythm and Blues: The Fondells bring you burlesque the way it used to be featuring captivating dancers, terrific entertainers, and a sax driven sound straight from the swanky uptown nightclubs and the smoky downtown dives of days gone by. Let the moody refrain of Harlem Nocturne set you in the middle of a Noir thriller and Jerry A’s haunting rendition of Spoonfull take you straight to the barrelhouses of the 1940s. Watch sharp-dressed cat Johnnie Ward blow the harp with style and ease and hear the Fondellas sing in sweet, sweet harmony. Guest appearances keep the performance fresh, and of course there are our dancers—pin-up girls brought to life that will dazzle and delight!

The Criminal Guitars - Though fresh on the scene, this band of Portland rock'n'roll alumni have had foot-holds in other acclaimed bands such as the Soda Pop Kids and the No Tomorrow Boys. Now they come together over a bond of appreciation towards rhythm 'n' blues and the way rock 'n' roll was. But this ain't no nostalgia trip. This is the modern sound, a rebirth of rhythm! As evident on their first debut single "(Can't Get) No Water" (which you can listen to for free at this is a band with it's hearts, heads, and balls all in the right place. Don't miss the action!

DJ Drew Groove - In a non stop quest as a Vinyl Archeologist, fearlessly travels deep into the audio jungles and dusty crates to excavate a tantalizing mix of solid get down action sounds! A true music lover with a sincere passion for vinyl records, his music collection and interests include but are not limited to Rare Soul, RnB, Mod Jazz, Garage, Lounge, Beat, French Pop, Hip Shakers, Northern, Organ Grooves, Yé-Yé, Floor Stompers, In Kraut, Go-Go, Popcorn, Jerk, Discothèque, Boogaloo, Tiki, Now Sounds, Twist Tease, Library Soundtrack, Spy-Fi, Funky Breaks, Exotica, and Many Other In Sounds From Way Out!
