Valan Primus (Pr11me)
Hailing from the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, Valan moved to Brooklyn New York in his teen years immersing himself in the diversity and vibrant culture of the big city.

In 2004, at only 19 years old, Valan got his start in the music industry landing his first gig as a designer and production assistant, working with the legendary House music pioneer Freedom Williams of C+C Music Factory, who is well known for his eternally popular hit song (Gonna Make You Sweat).

Over a decade later, Valan is now an active player in Portland’s music and dance scene, well known for his curation of Afro-Caribbean dance party Fever Fete and his featured performances at YGB's: Anniversary and Dope Magazine's Dope Cup. Valan rocks the crowd with his uncanny ability to merge a diverse array of slamming sounds from across the globe.

Danny Merkury

Holding onto his deep seeded roots of hip hop and morphing this passion with his newer love of electronic music is what Danny Merkury is good at. Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Danny Merkury's DJ skills have developed due to his musical surroundings and lessons he's learned directly from his idols. His inspiration to DJ began from watching DJ Juggernaut and Mark Mac while interning at Jammin' 95.5. Ever since, Danny Merkury has grown into a well-respected DJ in Oregon and has shared the stage with many notable artists such as Lil Wayne, Drake, E-40, Amine Edge & Dance, Hannah Wants and more. Aside from supporting larger artists and headlining venues himself, Danny Merkury and Terrance "Cool Nutz" Scott founded the NW Breakout Show, giving an opportunity for rising local artists to be seen and to support the local music landscape. The future is looking bright for him, as he has been recently signed to Beatrox Records.
