DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK, WE'VE BEEN HERE FOR YEARS!
The hunt is finally over. Thank you for patiently standing by for the past 2 months as we've been thoroughly scouting out potential venues all over the city. We're excited to announce that we've found a permanent new home for Wicked Wednesdays! Drumroll please... Starting on Wednesday, April 5th, Wicked Wednesdays will now take place at Beulahland every Wednesday night!!! This is a new venue, a new year, and a new chapter for Wicked Wednesdays! Sorry for all of the exclamation points, as you can see we are extremely excited!!!
This is a big year for Wicked Wednesdays. We're coming up on our WW 20 year anniversary celebration. We're in the middle of filming a Wicked Wednesday documentary. And although it was nice to have the past 2 months off, we're eager to get back into the swing of things! We hope that you'll come join us and jump on board for this next chapter of Wicked Wednesdays! All of the same fun, unique qualities that makes Wicked Wednesdays so highly regarded...only now at a new location.
About the venue: Beulahland is centrally located on NE 28th, between Couch and Davis street (near the old Laurelhurst movie theater). It's a casual, laid-back neighborhood bar/restaurant. Easily accessible by bicycle, skateboard, walking, or bus. They offer a great food menu, drink specials, pinball, a photo booth, displays by local artists, a small smokers patio out back. Big screen TV's, and more. Plus super friendly, efficient bartenders. The whole staff is awesome for that matter. And most importantly (in my opinion) is that Beulahland still captures that "old Portland" charm that's nearly impossible to find anymore. It's always a good time at Beulahland...."the soul of 28th Ave!"
