Women In Oregon Politics: The Road To Parity says
Oregon is experiencing and unprecedented reign of women leaders. From Governor Kate Brown, Speaker of the House Tina Kotek, Senate Majority Leader Diane Rosenbaum, House Majority Leader Val Hoyle, Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum, and many more, it is pretty clear that women are running the state right now.

How did we get here? Does this historic change matter? What are the experiences of the trailblazing women who work in our government today? How else are women impacting policy in Oregon?

City Club's Government and Public Policy Forum invites you to join us for an exciting panel of women leaders including State Representative Jessica Vega Pederson, Oregon Student Association Executive Director Emma Kallaway, PSU Professor Dr. Melody Valdini, and moderator Hannah Hoffman of the Statesman Journal, to learn how women are affecting policy in our state and what still needs to be done to reach equality in Oregon.
