L'kodac

Sea, sun and nice cold cocktails being turned out at a frenetic pace by the barmen on duty is the perfect combination for any late afternoon. Head out to L’Kodac, a bar/restaurant in Leça da Palmeira, right on the beach, and order a Margarita, a Gin fizz or perhaps a house Mojito, made with rum, lime, orange, berries, mint and ginger ale (€8). If you prefer a nice cold beer, it will come escorted with a guard of honour of peixinhos da horta (battered, fried runner beans), sweet-potato chips or tempura prawns. In either case, make sure you don’t drink too much if you’re thinking of jumping into the sea.
