This hotel is well-located, close to Exponor Cente, six kilometres away from the airport and five minutes from the Leça da Palmeira beach (for a sun-filled post-work pat on the back). If you don’t make it out, there’s always the gym, outdoor pool, (with bar and light meals service) and an on-site restaurant serving homemade nosh.

Holiday Inn Express

If you’re only here for a short stay make sure you don’t have to travel far to get to the beach. Porto’s city centre is 20 minutes away by bus and Leça da Palmeira beach is just five. There’s also a nearby shopping centre, handy 24-hour bar and breakfast is served in a relaxed cafeteria. The Ritz this ain’t, but for what you’re paying, you can forgive the decor.

You can’t come to Porto without going in for a full seafood feast. At just a five-minute drive from the airport, this hotel is handily located for anyone after a relaxing drink at a traditional Matosinho fish restaurant by the sea. It’s also next door to the Matosinho metro station with direct connections to Casa da Música and Porto’s city centre. Stay for the continental breakfast or hit the bar for a light meal.

Looking to catch some waves or rays?
