It opened for business in December 2015 and, judging by its crowded weekends, BOP will not be closing any time soon. They have really good music; the long row of shelves full of vinyl records in front of the counter has become something of a trademark (there is also three individual listening points). They sell craft beers, and special coffees. There’s their auto-drip coffee, prepared in Bunn machines, typical of American diners, served in mugs, with free refills. They also have pour-over coffee, a rarity in Porto: a single origin coffee (Ethiopian or Honduran arabica beans only), slowly and carefully prepared by the barista on a Hario V60. It’s gourmet coffee, individually adjusted for every customer.
