Castas e Pratos

One of the places in Douro where you can’t go wrong. The very modern Castas e Pratos occupies an old abandoned train depot (the neighboring warehouses are soon to become a shopping center), where it serves slightly altered Portuguese food. What does that mean? Well, they employ traditional flavors and recipes, but the presentation isneater. Their cellar includes over 600 wines and it is another strong point for this restaurant which, on its ground floor, has a wine bar.
