Cantareira is one of the most popular areas of Foz and, in our modest opinion, one of the city’s prettiest. Pisca, a wine-and- snacks specialist, has brought still more life to it, thanks to its outdoor seating, ideal for sunny days. Try the tortilla, the cured-ham croquettes and the meat tartare with rusks and matchstick chips, all served in small amounts, to share. To finish, dig into the house chocolate mousse, sprinkled with toasted almonds, and then burn off some of those calories walking along the seaside, then riverside promenade that runs all the way downtown.
