We don’t know every swimming pool in the world, but this is surely one of the prettiest ones. It’s an iconic work by Álvaro Siza Vieira, Portugal’s most award-winning architect (he won a Pritzker, the so-called “architectural Oscar”). The pool is lodged between the rocks and the sea (it’s a saltwater pool), in a unique union of architecture and natural setting.
